Not die Just rest
Stop digging up
the past,
Let it rest too
It’s not good
for me
Sleeping
with a
surf
board
under
my bed
in
readiness
for the flooding.
I don’t want to have
to sleep with my eyes half
open half the time
I want to close them
And not see
Feel the sun and wind
But I’m just so very angry.
